Hi Everyone,
This is the official website of the Blacknall Growing in Grace class.
The Growing in Grace class is a community that meets in the Upper Room of Blacknall Memorial Presbyterian Church at 9:45 on Sundays. We seek to grow in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ through collective study of the scriptures. We use lectures, discussions, skits and testimonies to enhance our learning . We are currently in an in-depth study of the Gospel of Matthew— What does it mean to live in Durham, NC as Christians in a world that has no awareness of the power of Christ or His finished work.
We also spend some time in prayer for each other, and the needs of the world.
We have at least one social each semester when we come together in a home for an international meal and fellowship.
We span all age groups, so come and join us!
Our class has three permanent teachers: Paul Immanuel, Vincent Stubbs and Vic Moore. We also expect to have Janise Smith teach from time to time, and this summer, we will be studying lessons from Genesis with Pastor Dave Dunderdale leading many of the sessions.
